  Galvestonian is in a great location. Our unit 307 was clean, comfortable ,well supplied and nicely decorated. The pool and surrounding grounds were very clean . Nicely landscaped and plenty of chairs and tables. Only complaint was the beach chairs and canopy rentals. We rented a canopy and four chairs for $120 for one day,9am to 7pm. It rained from 11:30 to 12:30 and the rental company came and took it all down during the rain and refused to bring it back or refund money. The rest of the day was beautiful and sunny but we could not sit on the beach on the ground in full sun. Despite many complaints to staff and management, nothing was done. This was a huge problem.

The staff and management of the Galvestonian were not able to handle your complaint regarding the umbrella rental company. Unfortunately, or fortunately, they are their own business and must make business decisions without our interference. Otherwise, both of our liability insurance is in jeopardy if something terrible was to happen due to expected weather. Sea La Vie is very mindful of safety and makes sound decisions based on the weather advisories distributed to the Island by professionals. We hope to see you again soon.

  I am a returning guest after being a condo owner for 17 years. I love being on the beach not across the street. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. I was pleased withwith the friendly and helpful people at the desk and maintenance assistance. I just wish you could access your room earlier that 4:00 without being charged a fee if the the room is available.
