1210 Water's Edge Hideaway

Our beautiful, updated condo has comfortable furniture and an open-concept kitchen/living room which is flooded with natural light, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. With the relaxing view of the beach, it's the perfect space to unwind! Leave your cares, pool towels, and other amenities behind.

Our kitchen comes fully stocked with dishes and appliances. A generous amount of pool towels are provided and can be exchanged at the front desk as often as needed to enjoy the on-site heated pool and hot tub. Other onsite amenities for your enjoyment include tennis and pickle ball courts, shuffleboard, horseshoes, picnic grills, and hammocks.

Our management team is committed to ensuring your living experience is smooth, enjoyable, and sure to produce fond memories. Prompt response to maintenance requests and a friendly approach make us stand out.

Situated on the east end of the island, our beachfront condominium is near the intersection of the seawall and the main entrance to the island. Enjoy easy access to the Seawall and historical district’s parks, shopping, museums, trendy cafes, and cultural hotspots, making your stay as comfortable and customizable as you desire. There are no meters or other hassles of street parking here as parking is in a designated lot on the north side of the building, with other overflow parking available if needed.

  In apartment 1210, kitchen and bathroom have been renovated nicely.
  Bedroom and bed comfortable. It is satisfactorily for a couple.
  Would stay there again.
  We would prefer management do not make us wear a bracelet. It’s annoying! The complimentary coffee downstairs doesn’t taste that good. Need to use filtered water and a better quality coffee. We have stayed at the Galvestonian many times for as long as it has existed.
  Best property in the island.

  The Condo #1210 looked like it had been upgraded and all appliances, tvs, dishes, and furniture seemed to be new. Good view, balcony for bedroom and one for living room was unique. The view was great being on top floor. If mobility is a problem the shower is large but there is a 10 inch step up to it..this was a great mini vaca.

  The weather stripping around the door to our unit was non-existent. On our last day, the wind changed directions and blew from the north there was a loud whistling wind noise in the unit. Made it hard to sleep.

  We have stayed at the Galvestonian many times in the past years. We had arranged with you unbrella service when we made our reservation and had signed and approved the contract.. Our reason for the trip was to celebrate our 41 wedding anniversary and we had planned to spend the day sitting and relaxing under the umbrella on the beach. I received a text 10 minutes before the umbrellas were suppose to be delivered that they were NOT going to bring them and were cancelling our service because they didn't have enough orders to make a profit. They would not even discuss it and were rude.
  
  It was a really big disappointment. We loved the Galvestonian, and everything about it was great....but to use venders who don't deliver and who are unprofessional is not what we had expected from your first class facility.

    Thank you for sharing your experience with us. As the summer season approaches the end, all umbrella operators unfortunately have to balance demand with good business decisions. Most umbrella vendors end their season on October 31 and are open for business again in mid-March before Spring Break. We apologize for the inconvenience, but the Galvestonian no longer provides umbrella service except through a vendor. We do apologize for what you describe as an unprofessional response. We will reach out to them.
