  We came to visit with daughter and grandchildren who live in the League City area.
  
  We have been coming to The Galvestonian yearly after our longterm ownership of a 2-bedroom unit was sold. The location of 1202 is next door to our dear longtime friend who is an original owner at The Galvestonian.
  
  The only flaw was a was a broken can opener.
  I suggest adding another towel rod in the guest bathroom as there was no place to hang more than a couple wet towels.
  
  Otherwise, the unit is very well equipped and decorated, probably the best we have rented.
  
  Unit 1202 would be our first choice next time we visit Galveston.

  Great location right on the beach but still close to things to do & places to eat! Everything was well-maintained & clean at the complex. The unit had everything we needed except w/d but our stay was only 4 nights. The couches are not comfortable AT ALL but the sun & mirrors made it difficult to sit there during the day without being blinded unless you closed the shades which defeated the purpose of ocean view. The mirrored wall in the bedroom also made it like waking up on the sun even with the shades down. Getting rid of the mirrors & odd extra chairs everywhere would make the interior space as enjoyable as the exterior. Master bed is not comfy either & we felt each movement the other made. Don't bother bringing a wagon for beach items as there is no way to get it to the beach without carrying it up & down stairs; only owners can take the elevators down to the ground level. They provide wagons but you still have to carry everything down to the wagons & by then you're almost at the beach. We would stay at the complex again but maybe not that unit due to the bed & couches.

You can access the service elevator with a staff member and get to the beach with wagons, strollers, wheelchairs, etc. Stairs are not the only access point to the beach.   Excellent condo on the east end of Galveston. Close to just about everything. Very comfortable and nicely equipped. Great access to the beach. Great for families. Check-in/out was easy. Our third time staying at the Galvestonian. Highly recommended.
